About Mārama Aotearoa Limited

Ko Wai Mātou – Who We Are

Mārama Aotearoa Limited is a kaupapa-driven, community-based organisation supporting whānau through care, connection, and collective strength.

Our Story

Mārama means light, clarity, and understanding. It reflects our belief that when whānau are met with respect, compassion, and clear pathways of support, positive change becomes possible.

Mārama Aotearoa Limited was established to respond to the complex and interconnected challenges faced by whānau at the margins of society. Many families experience overlapping pressures — housing instability, mental health stress, food insecurity, and limited access to support.

Our role is not to take over, but to walk alongside. We support whānau to identify their own strengths, aspirations, and solutions, while removing barriers and strengthening access to the right services at the right time.

Community support and connection

How We Work

We deliver Full Circle Services through a wrap-around, whānau-centred model. Rather than addressing issues in isolation, we work collaboratively to support the whole person and the wider whānau system.

This means taking time to listen, building trust, and coordinating across housing, health, education, and social services so whānau are not left navigating systems alone.

Our goal is long-term wellbeing — supporting whānau to build confidence, resilience, and the ability to thrive on their own terms.
